Delete comments, view comment “to-do” counts

We hope you are enjoying your summer break! This time of the year gives us the opportunity to implement some often-requested features and enhancements. We’ll post to this blog about the significant ones as they become available, so you’re all set to go in the fall! Here are a couple we’ve just put in place…

Delete comments

Oops! Made a mistake? Teachers can now click the trash can icon next to a comment in order to delete it, as long as a student hasn’t responded already. Note that students do not have the ability to edit or delete comments, which helps make sure they use the feedback system responsibly.

Comment "to-do" counts for each inbox and project

If you have students sharing projects with you through the “assignment inbox” feature, you will now see a red count next to any inbox that has an open to-do (a question or reply from a student that you haven’t yet responded to or marked done).

Click an inbox to open it and you’ll see the breakdown of which projects contain those open questions and replies.

Helping you to review student projects efficiently is one of our priorities this summer. We’ll be introducing an enhancement to the “Inbox Navigator” soon that allows you to quickly jump to the next student’s project that you need to review! Stay tuned!
