[All Styles] I forgot to record the publication information for a print magazine, newspaper or journal article. What can I do?
If you forgot to record publication information (like the inclusive page numbers of the article, or the specific page number of a quotation) of a print article, you have a few options:
You can cite the online version of the article instead. Newspapers, magazines and journals often have an online site with an archive of articles.
If your library subscribes to a subscription service like ProQuest Newspapers, Gale's Expanded Academic ASAP or EBSCO's Academic Search Complete you can log in and find your article.
If neither of the above options work, you'll need to return to your library and retrieve the print periodical. In the future, you might consider logging into your NoodleTools account and filling out basic citation information for your source or xeroxing the article and the cover of the periodical, to be sure you capture everything you need.
