From your summer work you should know that the Census Bureau http://www.census.gov is the place to start for census information. Go to the Census Bureau and search on "college enrollment."
You should notice that the words "traditional college-age students (those under 25)" means that there can be students over 24 and under 18 that are in college. This site doesn't say how many are enrolled in college, as opposed to just being 18-24. Therefore, the term "college enrollment" is not well-defined.
